Tammy specialises in complex NDIS support coordination, including mental health, psychosocial disability, behaviours of concern, positive behaviour support, and high physical support needs. She is highly skilled in building participants’ capacity and confidence, navigating NDIS plans, and collaborating with allied health professionals and service providers to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Experience
With over 30 years in disability and community services, Tammy brings extensive experience in support coordination, accommodation management, and staff mentoring. She has successfully managed teams, overseen multiple group homes and TAC RIPL facilities, and coordinated supports for participants with high and complex needs. Her background includes liaising with families, external services, and NDIS representatives to ensure transparent and effective partnerships.
Education
Tammy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Intellectual Disability (RMIT) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, complemented by ongoing professional development in positive behaviour support, incident reporting, and managing challenging behaviours. She also maintains up-to-date first aid and mental health first aid certifications.
Interests
Tammy is passionate about empowering people with disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives. She enjoys mentoring new coordinators, staying up to date with NDIS developments, and fostering positive relationships with participants and their families. Outside of work, Tammy values community engagement and lifelong learning.
