Experience
Mitchell possesses extensive experience in coordinating supports for Complex Care Clients, including those with multiple disabilities, neurodegenerative conditions, or chronic conditions. Mitchell has over a decade of involvement within the care sectors including Aged Care, Nursing, Home and Community Care.
Mitchell transitioned to Support Coordination in November 2020 with Recovery Options. Throughout his career, he has collaborated closely with diverse individuals from all walks of life, offering tailored and individualised support to facilitate their support requirements. Mitchell embarked on his professional journey at the age of 16 within the local community of Yarra Valley, initially working at an Aged Care facility. Mitchell is passionate about the care of others.
Education
Mitchell is a holder of Certificate III in Aged Care and a Certificate III in Home and Community Care, with studies in Diploma of Nursing (currently on deferment). Mitchell has also undergone training in Specialised Support Coordination.
Interests
Beyond his professional commitments, Mitchell’s passion revolves around his family, which includes both two- and four-legged members. He cherishes spending quality time with his loved ones, which comprise of his partner, six nieces, two nephews, a variety of cats, dogs, and goats. Mitchell finds joy in dedicating his free time to their care and companionship.
