Background
David commenced with Recovery Options in 2019 and played a pivotal role in establishing the organisation in its early stages, bringing a versatile and solutions-focused skillset. His professional background spans Tech Support, Superannuation, Call Centre Operations, Corporate Environments, and Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation, enabling him to contribute across both technical and operational domains.
Over time, David has progressed into a central leadership role across backend operations, systems, and workforce compliance. He manages the organisation’s backend systems, IT infrastructure, and administrative processes, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability across the business.
David is responsible for payroll management, portable long service leave, and related workforce compliance functions, supported by his strong expertise in superannuation. He also plays a key role in the preparation and establishment of staff employment contracts, ensuring alignment with organisational policies, award requirements, and legislative obligations.
In addition, David leads staff onboarding and induction processes, ensuring new team members are effectively introduced to systems, expectations, and compliance requirements from day one. He oversees Work Health and Safety (OHS) monitoring and compliance, maintaining a strong focus on safe, consistent, and well-governed operational practices.
As the organisation’s technical expert, David is responsible for system implementation, integration, and continuous improvement. He regularly delivers staff training on new systems and the integration of updates to the NDIS Price Guide, ensuring all team members remain informed, compliant, and aligned with current industry standards.
David is widely regarded as a senior internal consultant on the NDIS Price Guide, providing strategic advice on pricing, billing, and regulatory alignment. His depth of knowledge positions him as a trusted advisor within the organisation and a key contributor to maintaining best-practice service delivery.
Throughout his time at Recovery Options, David has contributed across Scheduling, Finance, Payroll, IT Development, Administration, and Business Development, making him a critical driver of the organisation’s operational strength and sustainability.
